I need to make a 22mm hole in an enamelled bathtub and I'm wondering if anyone has tips on how to do it in the best way?

I've been advised to use a hole saw for metal, low speed, low pressure, and lots of cooling.

Does anyone know anything.....?

Check the "Borra i kakel" thread in the Bathroom section - there are some tips there (if there are any similarities between enamel and granite-ceramics).

Maybe find a company in your area that can cut with water.

Could also try the "tile approach". Quite large similarities, hard and brittle.
A hole saw that doesn't have teeth but diamond powder. Slowly and carefully, with water on.
Try to find an old enamelled bathtub/cover plate and test on it?
The metal section at the recycling center...

Does the hole cutter used for the sink work?
Metal is metal - maybe the enamel will crack?!

I mean the model that has different notches for different sizes - like steps..

:o WARNING, for cracking! ;)
