Hi,
I'm considering hiring a company for asbestos removal. Is there anything specific I should keep in mind?
I've googled a bit, but mostly found information about scams, which creates some worry/questions.

I hired OCAB to remove black adhesive residues from a garage floor.
I received a bunch of quotes and they were the cheapest and did an okay job.

They missed a handle on a concrete manhole cover, and they didn't return the key themselves, so I had to pick it up at their office in another location. So I might be a bit stingy by only giving them an "ok".Friteradräka said:
But I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.
What is to be demolished?
The fear of asbestos is often exaggerated, considering that it's the fine dust you should avoid over 10-20 years to prevent lung damage.
The most effective method, apart from respiratory protection, is to handle asbestos wet/damp as no dust will be released into the air.

Thanks, I'm hiring a company anyway. I don't want to clean it up myself, I don't have the time.L Leif i Skåne said:What is it that needs to be demolished?
