I need hinges - and help!
The conditions are that I need to build a number of concealed hatches up in the loft. The material is vertical raw plank, 22 mm.
I need hinges for this project, which can accommodate a 22 mm thick hatch and have a "coverage" of preferably 21-22 mm.
The hatches will be attached directly to the existing framework - 45 mm - and therefore I need coverage of e.g. 22 mm from each side so that the "gap" between the hatches is not too large and visible.
Ideally, the hinges should be of the so-called "push" type, meaning they open by being pushed in slightly.
Is there anyone out there who has any tips on hinges I can use? I have been in contact with Thuressontrading, but his hinges could only accommodate coverage of 19 mm, which leaves me with a gap of 7 mm, which is too much.
