Building a sunroom and some metal brackets for the glulam beams will be visible on the inside. They are about 9x9cm and not very attractive. I don't know if painting over them would make them look better. Are there "nicer" brackets than the usual ones with holes? Or is there a clever way to hide them?

Perhaps difficult to solve by hand, but there are embedded mounting plates, like a T that you attach with a through bolt - used in houses in any case, but then it is prefabricated.

Construction screw

Building angles are really ugly and cannot be camouflage-painted, so if one possesses even an ounce of aesthetic sense, one does not use them in visible constructions.

Toenailing, mortising, notching, etc. are classic methods.
