Hi, I have a house with a basement built in 1960. Planning to repair some damage on the base before repainting in the spring.
I've read that I can use plaster mortar B for the base and plaster mortar C for the basement walls indoors.
To my questions:
1. Can I pre-water and then "slamma" with a slightly looser consistency of the plaster mortar B I intend to use? Does it have to be a priming mortar A, as I'd like to keep it simple.
2. How long should I wait after slamming until I plaster?
3. Indoors on basement walls, should I slamma there too in preparation for repairing damage? And if so, the same question applies, can I slamma with a more diluted plaster mortar C?
