Staircase hallway under renovation with unfinished plastered walls, shoes on the floor, and exposed electrical wiring, seeking paneling advice.

Staircase with unfinished wallpaper ending; exposed drywall and floorboards visible; wiring and light switches in view.

Stairwell with unfinished wainscoting and cabinets. Wallpaper stops at stair rail, query on panel finishing with trims or baseboards.

We are going to install wainscoting in the staircase. Then it should continue only to the stair railing to the upper floor and not where the wallpaper ends and becomes white.
We wonder how to nicely finish the wainscoting in the staircase to the left and around the stair railing wall?
Are moldings, baseboards, etc. used and what might it look like?
How should we do at the floor by the stair railing?
How should we do at the floor on the left side, where the wallpaper ends?

Hi, I saw that you wrote a few years ago. How did you solve the problem? I'm probably going to have the same problem at my place.

It's not solved yet, but I hope it will be when I start. I'll post pictures when it's done.
