As the title says. I'm not sure when I try to figure this out. Would appreciate it if someone knowledgeable could help me. I want to know how many bags I need, not how many cubic meters/liters etc 😀

I'm casting a foundation for an outdoor air-to-water heat pump. The dimensions of the mold are: 126x74 cm and the slab will be 12 cm high

I already have a 20 kg Weber grovbetong so it will be those bags I will buy

Million dollar question. How many bags will it take?

  • Bag of Weber coarse concrete, 20 kg, suitable for indoor and outdoor use, displayed on K-Rauta website with a purple header.
Barely 13 liters is a sack if I remember correctly.

And the volume you need according to your measurements is just over 110 liters... so then you should need to buy 9 of them.

I usually put in some stones and maybe some iron to stretch it out, but it's boring to stand there and have accidentally spilled out while the hardware store is locking the door for the evening... so buy 10.

If one bag provides 10 liters of concrete (which I can google), you need 11.2 bags. Buy at least 11 of them.
