I will use two HEB 240 beams, one of which will counteract the sway in the upper floor. The other will be instead of an exterior wall. Both will be under the trusses "floor joists" for half the length of a building, so about half of the trusses, about 8, will rest on these HEB 240 beams. My question is whether anyone knows how thick the columns need to be at each end of the beams to take the load. I hope you understand what I mean. The length of the HEB beams is 10 meters each. One will be in the middle of the width of the house and one instead of an exterior wall. Since the building has a wall to place the trusses on, I would be grateful for an answer.

This question is resolved by the designer who calculated the beams, not an operation to be solved here on the forum. What is the plan for the foundation of these pillars?
