Grass between deck gaps
Moved into a house 2 years ago.
Now need to address the fact that thick grass blades are coming up between the planks up to the deck. Not on the flat part of the deck but the steps.
I suspect they couldn't put gravel there, just ground fabric… etc
I'm thinking of unscrewing the boards and laying new ground fabric under the steps.
What type of ground fabric should I buy? Because surely I can't do anything else. Digging out is not an option, I think.

This does the job better, the other is for separating soil masses.

The post does not convey any falsehood, I learned in a course, 3 drops of diesel in a coffee cup with soil, and nothing will grow in it for at least 100 years.Roga1337 said:
Then it's up to each individual to decide if it's beneficial to water with diesel.
Ok, then you have some knowledgeIsakare said:
Still a strange advice.
We don't know all the conditions/circumstances about the place... suppose your neighbor received the same advice on a forum and doesn't care that your vegetable patch is 2 meters away.
It is not a given to use landscape fabric under a patio, in many cases it becomes too dark anyway for anything to grow. For you, it seems to be the exception around the stairs. So I wouldn't call it cheating.

This with Diesel: there are some individuals here on the forum who think they can do whatever they please on their own property, like spilling diesel, burning waste, polluting, and ignoring general rules.
