Hello
I'm about to start renovating the entire upper floor of our 1 1/2 story house. It will be a total gutting of the old and framing up new, as well as insulating correctly and ensuring moisture barriers and such are done properly, unlike now.
Since I work as an electrician, I have quite a few contacts with good builders whom I consult with and who have looked at it and will help me some.
My question is if there is a good Building Handbook that describes various stages well, so I don't have to call the carpenters for every "idiot thing" that comes up during the construction. Even if you've seen a lot and built a bit, there are always 1000 questions. If you can eliminate 100 of these questions maybe you only become "suspected idiot. Rather than removing all doubt" d^_^b
Would appreciate suggestions.

I have bought/received some over the years but never one I liked, what's in the books you already know, I have never gotten answers to the idiot questions without having to ask one of my craftsman friends
I agree with kamilenski, a forum like this is definitely better
