Going abroad to buy materials

In the coming days, we will be traveling with two trucks to buy building materials for our gigantic renovation at home. The destination is Poland, and I wonder if there's anyone who's been there and can give some tips on what to watch out for, look for, etc.

thanks, checked a bit there but it's a pretty old thread and it seems like the discussion occasionally goes off topic which is why I started a new one
