Glulam or Larch for posts 95x95?

To be used to support a balcony above the porch. Price-wise it is similar, and each option has its advantages. Larch has better resistance to moisture if (when) it cracks, while glulam probably won't crack at all. Regardless of the option, the plan is to paint them.

Experiences, tips, and advice are gratefully received!

Glulam, Lärk wood cracks easily and is not so strong.
