Hello,

We have a parquet floor that rests on a cast slab, but it has come loose a bit, both at the edge and the floor itself flexes when you walk on it right at the edge.

Parkett flooring on a concrete slab showing board separation, creating a flexing issue near the edge. Indoor room with reflective surface.

My question is if one can apply some tec7 there and place a weight on it so that it gets glued in place, or is that a bad idea? Do you have any other better suggestions for securing it?

Thank you in advance!

I have glued the transition strip between the tiles and parquet. It's held for four years so far. But you might need to remove the entire strip for it to stick well.
