no strength is needed to drill in concrete. only the drill should do the work.

I think it's getting a bit out of hand here now. Renting Hilti machines? Casting beam shoes? It's about drilling in concrete block to put up a trellis. Any drill can handle it with even the slightest hammer function. The cheapest at Biltema or a small cordless drill with hammer function.

Of course, any machine can handle it. But if you are going to put up many posts with many holes for each, it takes time with poor tools. And a hammer drill is not made for drilling holes in concrete.

They are good in softer concrete. Single smaller holes. The much more expensive ones are much better. However, I choose a cheap hammer drill.
