Glue floor joist/sill to interior wall?
Hello
I am going to build an interior wall in the garage. I am a bit afraid of drilling into the floor since there is underfloor heating. Is it a possible solution to glue the floor stud with, for example, PL400?
The slab was cast a year and a half ago.
Plastic under the stud won't be possible, but is it necessary?
Grateful for comments!

Håkan

Whether the wooden rule becomes moisture-damaged or not depends on whether the slab has underlying insulation or not.
If it has underlying insulation, it should work, although it is not recommended. This is, however, on the condition that the adjacent floors are not covered with anything diffusion-tight.
An alternative solution would be to use a steel sill and not rest the wall panels directly on the floor surface.
The steel sill should, of course, not be slotted.
Good luck.

Thanks for the tips!
Steel sill sounds like the best solution, I didn't think of that. It should be fine to continue with wooden studs in the rest of the wall, right?
