Removed a couple of moldings in a room in the house. On the molding that was against the outer wall, I pulled off a "clump" of plaster, say 15 x 15 cm.
This is under/behind a radiator, so not especially easy to reach, but hardly particularly exposed either. Then a new molding needs to go up.
What to do?
- Remove it, try to reach with plaster mix, and put up new
- Use some suitable glue (PL400-like?) that claims to handle "everything," and cover with filler
- Real stopgap solution: Put some filler in between, press it back, and fasten it with the molding instead.

Since it is in a place that is quite difficult to see, I tried to glue it with a PL400-like thing. It didn't turn out perfectly, so I'll probably take it down and put some gypsum filler there instead.
