Hi
I will soon be building a new wall in Leca that will support a new facade. Inside the wall, there will be a small space, about 120 cm between floor and ceiling. In there, we will store some stuff, like garden tools, I suppose. Unless I get it as a "man cave," of course.

Tonight I came up with the idea of why not throw in one or two concrete glass blocks, in a clear finish, into the wall. It would be like two small windows letting in a bit of light. I haven't gotten this approved by the government yet, and it might look very unstylish. But maybe also really nice on an autumn evening with some light shining inside.

In any case, I can't find out if concrete glass is okay in a load-bearing exterior facade. Most seem to be for shower spaces.

Does anyone know if concrete glass even exists for exterior facades?

I mean something like this:

Best regards,
Fredrik

This proposal seems to have been voted down by the "government," which did not think it was a good idea.

Even the fashion police say stop! The 70s called and wanted their idea back;)

In this case, I agree with the higher power. Leave it be.
If you really want it, I might still have some left that I haven't taken to the dump after spending quite a bit of time ripping out the mess when we renovated ;)
