We are considering tearing down a load-bearing wall and putting up glass blocks instead. In the exact same place as the existing wall?
Will the glass blocks be able to support the ceiling?
Or do we need to install a proper beam at the top?

You need to support it, the glass blocks cannot hold this up. Contact the engineer before you demolish!
