Hi there.
I have seen some questions about this in the forum, but I want to confirm that my interpretation works according to industry standards.
I'm also grateful for other great suggestions (including alternatives to Platon Blå), I have looked at Nivellgolv but think the solution below will be easier for me.
With this solution, I get about 210cm in ceiling height in the basement. A follow-up question that just arose is how you handle it around the laminate floor since you normally apply a soft sealant; will it manage without the soft sealant?
- Pergo Laminate Flooring + Ventilated Baseboards
- Laminate Underlayment
- 22 mm Subfloor Panels (floating)
- Platon Blå + Upturn on the sides
- Platon Ventitex (if I understood it correctly, it prevents clapping sounds)
- Uninsulated Concrete Foundation (basement) from 1961 (dry as heat has been on for the past 2 years)
