We want to give our 25-year-old wooden house more of a house-like feel, and therefore we are going to render the house. According to hearsay, there are several different types where sometimes you remove the wood paneling, add insulation, mesh, and then spray on the render. Some say you should apply render on top of insulation, and some say you shouldn't remove the wood.
After all this advice, I thought I would ask you for advice. What should we choose, and how much do the different options cost? One builder said 130,000 SEK and another said "no more than 40,000 SEK" ???
