Hello,

I'm in the process of planning a new construction, building exterior walls with Lecablock, and would like to frame the windows with brick, see attached (simplified) sketch. How on earth do you manage above the window?

Should one place a concrete beam on top and attach special bricks (like the kind you set around corners when you want a "brick facade" indoors)? Or maybe use some wrought iron for support?

Is there anyone in Östergötland who does this type of work?

Best regards,

Magnus

Often there is a beam over the window, lecabalkar at lecablock houses. Supports or similar to fix the bricks.under the time the mortar sets A regular bricklayer should be able to fix it.
