Hello everyone knowledgeable. Bought myself an apartment, tore down all the wallpaper in every room, and threw up fabric with paint right after. My question concerns the baseboards, as the previous owner laid a nice wooden floor but didn't quite manage the width, so the long sides are missing about 25mm from the wall to the first plank.
How would you solve this? Try to find a baseboard that is at least 25mm deep or try to fill the gap in some way?
Young guy grateful for help.

Either a thick baseboard or baseboard+quarter round that matches the floor.

If it's not a really old apartment, a baseboard with 25+ mm width feels ugly. Redo it and relay the floor.
If the floor is too nice to tear up, perhaps you can manufacture moldings in the same material that can lay flush with the floor. A precision job.
