We are building a house with a basement.
The floor joists on the upper floor span a large living room that is 5m wide (approximately 7m in the other direction). In our contract, it states that we should have LVL beams 45x220 cc600, but now that the materials have arrived, we have instead received regular beams 45x220 but cc300. Is this sufficient?

A constructor should answer that, but the advantage of Kerton is precisely that it is delivered in the desired length, and it can become really cramped with cc300 for sewage, ventilation, etc.

The image is very similar to our basement. We also have the sauna built with the door angled.
We don't have any drainage pipes in that room, but under the bathroom where the drainage pipes run there is also cc300.
We have steel beams on the sides to lean the beams on, and according to the engineer, this should be okay. We don't want a bouncy floor, but with cc300 it seems to manage without laminated beams.

Good thing we don't have to install the ventilation ourselves...
Do you know if we're getting ripped off for a lot of money?
I have a feeling that kertobalkarna are much more expensive even if we get twice as many regular ones!
