Flat steel, metal strip 1x15 mm wanted

Metal band/Flat steel 1x15 mm wanted. Need to replace the rusty bands that hold together the floor panels in the van. Have searched around but only find 2x15 mm.

Yes, that might be an idea. However, it turned out to be 1.5 mm thick when I sanded away rust and found the caliper.

If you're just going to hold floorboards together in the car, I suggest you reconsider and cut pieces of 1mm thick perforated strip, which are usually available at Jula, Biltema, and similar stores in both stainless and galvanized.

1.5 mm sat really tight so I think it will be difficult to insert.

Then go for hålband, it's cheap and easy to get hold of.

It ended up being 15x2 in aluminum from Hornbach. Fit perfectly.
