I am going to build an extension on the summer cottage. The extension's roof will be covered with traditional 2-cup roof tiles like the rest of the house has.
How flat can the slope of such roof tiles be?

I find it difficult to be specific regarding the brand and manufacturing year,
but I can say that they look to be over 50 years old.

If they are untampered, you must have at least 22 degrees! There are special roof tiles for flat roofs, they are probably hard to find.

We have a 14-degree slope and it works great. This is on two dormers, and it has been like that for a very, very long time with no problems at all. We also have it on a woodshed with an 8-degree slope and it works fine, but I wouldn't have such a low slope on a roof with insulation and stuff underneath.
