I'm going to build a pergola and plan to use brackets as shown below (or equivalent from another supplier). Nice and simple together with 90x90 posts. Now to the problem.
I want to have a slope on the rafters, as the pergola will stand against the house and will then be more aesthetically pleasing (but there will be posts at the back). The brackets I find are only available with a 90-degree angle, does anyone know if there are equivalents but with some slope?
Why not skip the brackets, miter-cut the posts to the angle you want, glue and screw the top rails? Personally done it this way ten years ago, still holding up.
