I am going to install a rail on the ceiling to hang curtains from. However, the concrete is porous and the drill holes have become too large for plugs/screws. Is it possible to fill the holes with Fischer Fill & Fix and then mount the rail with just screws (no plugs)? The load will be directly downward, and then the screw/rail/curtain will only be held in the filler and not in the concrete. In instructional videos, I've only seen mounting in walls, and in that case, the original wall's concrete remains as a counterbalance when a screw is loaded.
I've also had anchor compound suggested, but it feels too coarse and complicated.
Will Fill & Fix hold up for a direct downward load?
