I'm planning an extension tent for our caravan and the campsite requires EI30 as the minimum fire rating.
Is there anyone skilled in calculating this who can help, or does anyone have a good link/list on what materials can withstand?
The construction I have in mind is
Roof:
18mm panel
140mm studs with mineral wool
20mm raw board
Roof lamp
Metal roof
Walls:
18mm panel
70mm studs with mineral wool
22mm horizontal panel
Floor:
22mm chipboard
140mm studs with mineral wool
12mm asphalt board

E.g.: 12 mm chipboard, at least 95 mm insulation of fiberglass wool, and 22 mm exterior wood panel. This construction fulfills fire rating EI30.

Thanks for the info, probably no problem changing to 95 rules but can't you switch the 12mm chipboard for an 18 panel instead, or do you need to install both chipboard and panel to meet EI30? Or is it better to go with 70mm insulation + chipboard + panel?Jonatan79 said:
