Hello
I want to lay deck tiles on my balcony/gallery. The problem is that the association had to lay a new coating due to creating a slope. So I only have a 1 cm height difference from the door to the floor. Which means that most decking solutions are not suitable.

So I thought deck tiles + artificial grass. But to the point :). Of all the ready-made deck tile solutions, I can't find any with an edging strip (other than those in plastic). They all just assume you'll build out to the edge.

So two questions.
1. Does anyone have tips on deck tiles that also sell with an edging strip as an accessory?
2. Alternatively, how do you make one yourself best? What type of wood should you choose, etc.

Attached is a small drawing of how I planned it.

Regards

Why not artificial grass on the whole thing?
You're likely to stub your toes on the edge more than once.

Hi Åsa.
Yes, I've thought about that too. Maybe it's the simplest.

So, tips on good artificial grass with good water drainage are greatly appreciated :). We don't have the best slope outward on our balconies.

Or does any artificial grass with "plastic feet" on the underside work?

Absolutely easiest to just buy by the meter and roll it out. I would think that all with spikes drain okay. Don't buy the cheapest quality if you plan to stay for a few years.

Hepp, then I bought a little könstgräs mostly to test.
Turns out there's too little space under the door. I also tried cutting down the sample piece. So either saw a bit off an exterior door. Is that appropriate? Or some other workaround.

I'd rather not lay a carpet.
