We are going to cast a foundation for a greenhouse to stand on. 20cm wide and 12cm high. 2 reinforcement bars at 8mm. We will drill some holes from the top afterward. Finbetong is recommended for a maximum layer thickness of 10mm. Is it unwise to choose Finbetong and do we need to use Grovbetong?

Is there any particular reason why you are considering finbetong?
If you mix it yourself, you can "top" the form with finer concrete near the surface. But the coarse should be sufficiently even if you smooth the surface.

Coarse concrete in a bag is really nice, no problem achieving a fine surface.
If you mix it yourself and use 8-16, it can be harder to achieve a fine surface.
I would go with coarse concrete any day of the week.
