fine carpentry

hello, I need to have 2 doors built and wonder if anyone has an idea of what it would cost.
they should be simple doors painted white, complete with frame + lock
maybe some design like panels. thanks in advance

I would guess 10-12,000 with spray painting

I don't know what the standard door dimensions are, but the easiest and cheapest way would probably be to modify a couple of those.

24 thousand for 2 doors? Can it be that bad?

I've thought about modifying standard doors but I'm very unsure of my competence in that area. But perhaps I have to give it a try; if I can save 10 to 15 thousand, it might be worth it.

10-12" each sounds like a lot if you mean interior doors.... request a quote from a local carpentry / M

Like the previous post, ask for quotes, have some tips on carpentry if you need them.

checked a bit today, there are cheap ready-made doors available. Has anyone here modified standard doors? I'm somewhat interested in how one goes about cutting them and putting them back together again.
