Hello,
We have a townhouse from 1974 with a basement made of prefabricated concrete walls. Between each concrete element there is a gap of about 10-30mm that was filled with mineral wool (out to a Platon mat on the outside of the wall) - we have removed this.

As we are re-draining, we also need to seal all gaps. We checked with some sealing companies, and they say that foam sealant would work well, also that this is something we can easily do ourselves.

As we are re-draining due to moisture/leakage problems :( we don't want to make any mistakes!

The gaps run from just below the house's wall panel all the way down to the concrete slab. That is, the upper part of the gap is directly exposed to all weather conditions, while the rest is underground behind Pordrän boards.

Do you have tips or experience on how we should best fill, insulate, seal these gaps?!

Thanks in advance.
