Fence. Choice of material.

Want to build a fence with thin slats. About 25x40 mm. The one I have today twists with moisture etc. What do you think about using 24mm marine plywood? And cutting 40mm strips? This construction should withstand most things. Or?

Yes, the plywood can probably handle it, the question is just how it looks...? I have a hard time seeing that it would look nice.

Why are the slats twisting today, is it because there is too much space between the fastening points? What does the construction look like?
