I have painted the sheet metal and welded papp in the sections where I plan to use 28/70 impregnated strips. They will rest on 10 mm spacer blocks.

How would you fasten the strips?

Farmer screws in the seam? Straight down into the sheathing with a generous dab of roof sealant?

You absolutely must not screw either into the seam or through the roof as that defeats the entire purpose of sealing first. The most common approach is to build loosely on top, but if you need to attach it, you can do so to the adjoining wall or pay the roofer a little extra to prepare some attachments you can use. You really don't need to screw down every joist.

You might be able to come up with something creative with seam fasteners as well, but I have no experience with that.

Well, then I just have to rethink.

What do you think about bending a galvanized steel plate with nail holes in a way that resembles a false clamp...
