A stupid question perhaps, but what is the best way to fasten noggins in a studded partition wall? Every other bay I can shoot from the outside with the nail gun, but those in between - is it skråa that applies?

Do you have to have them at the same height? Otherwise, you can place them offset.

I can understand that, but if you're going to put up panels, I imagine it becomes much easier when they are at the same height. Otherwise, you'll soon find yourself screwing outside.

If you have trouble with angling, first nail 2 3" nails where the bottom edge of the kottling will be, lay the kottling on the supports and angle :-)

was indeed a question of noggings, not vertical studs

The same function, just took a progress photo. The quick clamp grips both the kortling and the regular. One on each side and it's working perfectly.:D

complicated is just to nail or screw it down

Krilleman
What will you hang with them? In other words, what will you hang up in these?

Just like krilleman writes, what do you need them for?
Kottlingar are just regressive pensioners who set

Kottlingar are just backward-looking pensioners who set
there are those who don't want to make it easy for themselves

Well, I probably prefer to keep it simple for myself.

Do you not need to splice OSB over nogging if you are then going to have plasterboard?

Isn't it necessary to splice OSB over a noggin if you're going to have gypsum later?
Hello!

There are 2 ways. One is to have the OSB lying down and the gypsum standing up.

The other is to start with a full sheet of OSB and then start with a half sheet of gypsum to offset the seam.
