Hello,

in our house, they have saved on electrical installation. For example, in the hallway, there is only one (1) switch. Now, I would like to redo it and possibly with some radio-controlled switches like a "smart home." But I don't like exposed electrical installation. I would like to add a junction box in some places. The problem is, I have no idea how I could do this. Drilling holes is easy, but how do you get the box to stay in place?

There are "renoveringsdosor". I don't know what they are really called, but you can find them even at Citygross.
These are boxes that you mount from the outside in a drilled hole next to, for example, another box to connect them.

What should the extra switches control? Is it not just a matter of installing double or triple switches in the existing box and instead trying to start from the ceiling box?

I'm still going to install a radio-controlled system. In some places, I already have a double switch and need four. I just need to install switches, the lamp turns on/off with the radio.
