Hi,

I'm going to plaster drywall and have 2 outer corners, 1 where there is renovation gypsum on both sides and 1 where there is concrete on one side and renovation gypsum on the other.

There are quite a few different edge protectors, so the question is what should be used in this case?

The walls will, as mentioned, be plastered and taped, after which they will be wallpapered (quite thin wallpaper).

There are corner profiles available in metal and plastic that can be screwed on. If the corner is in an exposed location, I would probably prefer metal as it can withstand a hit better. Just make sure it's properly secured with many attachment points.

It seems that you shouldn't use metal if you have OSB or something else behind that can move. Then you should use paper or plastic.

I think I'll try to get hold of Gyproc AquaBead, they seem convenient.

Possible with new findings, I have metal, but everything is fine as long as it works.
