We have found a lovely old farm that we are very interested in, provided that it would not cost too much in the future to extend the residential house, which is now 86 sqm.
What might it cost to extend, for example, 50 sqm?
The house is from 1916, 1 ½ stories, with hydronic heating, crawl space foundation. We are considering extending one short side to create a larger living room and 1-2 additional bedrooms. We can get the timber from my father-in-law.

Somewhere between 10-20,000/sqm with materials is an estimate off the top of my head..!Mamma07 said:We have found a very nice old farm that we are very interested in, provided that in the future it wouldn't cost too much to expand the residential house which is now 86sqm.
