Hello.
I have just started renovating the bathroom on the upper floor and would like to have tiles, but since I have masonite beams that are 250mm high and spaced at cc600, I am considering how to reinforce them. I saw on GVK that you could use lightweight fill material.
Would EPS cement work, or would the total weight be too much? The span is about 3.5m, roughly in the middle of the bathroom upstairs there is a wall running across the downstairs that should relieve some of the weight? The area is 4.9 sqm and the EPS should be at least 150mm thick.
