Electrical outlet and extra drywall, how to do it?

How do I handle all the outlets, etc., when I put up an extra drywall in the living room?
The outlets will end up a bit inside...
Do you move the entire box out of the wall, and if so, how?

if it's an old house with iron boxes, I would have just moved the outlet to the new drywall.

if it's plastic boxes, there are extension rings in varying heights at places like jula, biltema,
classe O etc...

Longer screw? A tip is regular drywall screw.

Or wood screw, depending on what kind of boxes they are. I discovered that the ones from byggmax don't use machine screws but sheet metal screws (!) in the plastic.

Extension rings with screws are really expensive, like 4 for 60 SEK or something. It's okay if it's just the living room though.
