Okay, maybe a stupid question, but if you don't know, you don't know. Why are there different lengths of drywall screws for 1 layer of 13mm drywall against wood? Grabber uses 3.9x32 mm, which is the only size I've seen from other brands too. Now I bought Essve's drywall screws and they were 3.9x30 mm. Yes, they were for wooden studs ;).
I remembered something else, Grabber uses a so-called double head which prevents the paper on the drywall from tearing, the edge around the screw hole is folded in. Essve does not have this, something to worry about?
It's only about 2 mm but I want to know :)

30-32mm is for single plasterboard, 39-41mm is for double plasterboard (2 plasterboards on top of each other, sometimes required in bathrooms).
The other measurement is the screw thickness, I think, but you don't need to worry too much about that.
That other thing with double head is an unnecessary thing, because if you drive the screw in too far, it doesn't matter anyway for the painter who comes after and fills.

Thank you for your response, but what you mentioned is something I'm aware of..;)

It's probably pure coincidence if the manufacturer chooses to make the screw 30 or 32 mm. It's nothing to worry about.

Okay, that could very well be the case. What do you think about the dubbelhuvud?

Have actually never tried doublehead. But since regular drywall screws work excellently as well, it can't be something that's absolutely necessary.
