I would like to install small LED spotlights in a window, but to be able to do that, I need to get past a load-bearing stud on the ground floor. It appears to be 2 pieces of 45x95 that are together. Ideally, one wouldn't want to drill into these, but is it even possible to do so to run a wire through without compromising the structural integrity? I would prefer to be able to run a conduit through so I can replace the spotlight/wire without having to pull everything up if a spotlight breaks.

Is this possible?

It's probably just a matter of going ahead. I don't think two such studs are considered critical in that sense, even if they of course might be supporting something.

It is fine to drill an 18 mm hole in the middle for flexslang.
