What do you say about the dimension especially of the roof beam, is 45 x 170 sufficient?
Or maybe we can go down to 145 mm..
There will be a support in the middle as drawn with either one post per beam or as in the front with a joist underneath..
At the back, the roof beams are attached to the wall with joist hangers.

After consulting Svenskt Trä again, the decision was made to use 145 x 45 both as top plate and roof beam, with an estimated deflection of under 3 mm, it should hold even for a few decimeters of wet snow ....
