I am converting an old outbuilding into a residence and will be making a new attic floor. Then loose-fill insulation.
The span is 4.6m.
Is 45x145 sufficient, or should I go up in dimension to prevent the ceiling from sagging?
The trusses are not included in the calculation as this is only intended to support a catwalk/insulation/ceiling
