I'm in the process of building a bathroom in the basement with a concrete floor and masonry walls that will be tiled and have tiles laid on the floor. Tiles will also be laid in the rest of the basement, but no tiles will be used there except in the bathroom. I went in and compared some prices on adhesive and Byggmax had decent prices on their own, and they also had another type (which is being phased out but is still available in "my" store). For this type, it stated that it should only be for tiles, but if you go to the linked fact sheet, it says it also works for floor tiles, so there were some contradictory pieces of information in their texts. Is there a difference between adhesive for tiles and floor tiles, or is it the same thing for both? Even for their own adhesive, there were some contradictory pieces of information as it mentions tile installation in wet areas in the text, but if you go into the fact sheet, it says it is not approved for use in wet areas. Should I skip Byggmax since they don't seem to have their facts straight about the products, or is it all just adhesive?
