Hello,

I'm going to renovate our bathroom, and the chimney adjoins it. I have removed an extra ledge that was there and a box for an old pipe.

But I guess the next step is to leave the rest as is and brick up the old holes from a previous life?

  • Gray bathroom wall corner with chimney space, removed protrusion, and taped door frame in renovation.
  • Bathroom renovation with exposed bricks, debris, a pipe, and an old hole in the wall, following removal of an extra ledge and box for a previous pipe.
  • Exposed brick chimney in a bathroom under renovation, showing a removed section and a hole from an old pipe. Debris is scattered on the floor.
  • Damaged wall section with exposed bricks and piping near a door, surrounded by scattered rubble, in a partially renovated room.
