Hello,

I am renovating a 2-story townhouse from 1971. The house includes a double garage. One of the spaces is smaller than the other, as approximately 2x2m in one corner is "stolen" for a WC & cloakroom accessible from the hallway.

I plan to demolish the WC and build a new one in the area currently used for the cloakroom. This way, some space can be returned to the garage. The wall that needs to be removed to give space to the garage is made of lightweight concrete (possibly blåbetong?).

Two considerations have then arisen.
1) Can a lightweight concrete wall be load-bearing? The flooring is cast in concrete.
2) The new wall I build, does it have to be in lightweight concrete as well or equivalent? Are there regulations for what kind of wall must be against the garage? Where there can be flammable liquids and more,
