Hello! I have an interior wall that I would like to completely remove, or rather two and eventually three walls that need to be taken down. Now, after studying the house plans, I've concluded that three rafters rest on this wall. So, I probably need to keep a few standing studs (which I don't want to do) or reinforce with a laminated beam or something similar. But maybe someone here knows better than me and can say I'm wrong and that the wall can just be removed. The smartest thing is, of course, to check with a structural engineer, but I thought I'd first hear what you all have to say. See attached image.
