Hello. I'm renovating at home and bought plasterboards that I've had lying in a cold garage for about a month. Now that I was planning to start installing them, they feel a bit damp. I checked with a moisture meter and it showed up to 17%. Outdoors, there have been fluctuating temperatures, both above and below zero, which I suppose is what made them damp. Is it even worth installing them? The boards look fine, I'm just wondering if the moisture might dry out before I start spackling.

If the plaster feels normal on the cross-sections and the paper layers on each side are fine, then there should be no problem using the plasterboards.
