Hi! Tips on how I can make a nice and straight cut on a thin plastic sheet (2mm). The cut I'm going to saw is about 5cm from the edge.

Cut with a utility knife with a new blade, place a board or something else straight to cut against...

Avoid sawing, it might go haywire, chop, crack, etc.
As previously suggested, cut with a sharp knife against a steady surface.
